היבטים חוקיים, פסיכולוגיים ואתיים של חוק החולה הנוטה למות – מפרשת חולה

מובאת במאמרנו פרשת חולה בטרשת אמיוטרופית צידית – Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) התלויה בהנשמה לא פולשנית, אשר מילאה הנחיות מקדימות ובהן ביקשה להימנע מפעולות מאריכות חיים. החולה נמצאה ללא רוח חיים ועברה הנשמה בהסכמת מיופה-כוח.

בהמשך, מיופת-כוח אחרת התנגדה להנשמה ואף ביקשה למנוע חיבור מחדש של המנשם לאחר שנותק לצורך שאיבת ליחה. אנו דנים בהיבטים החוקיים, הפסיכולוגיים והאתיים של יישום חוק החולה הנוטה למות במקרה המורכב של חולה זו.
